DAY 2 ~ Jalan- Jalan Kota Rome

10/12/2017 (Ahad).. Pagi2 lepas makan siap cepat2 nak ronda Kota Rome.. Sebab weekend dah pasti ramai orang..

Assalamualaikum & Salam Sejahtera.. Happy & healthy always ya..

First time for depa ni bercuti dgn baju2 sejuk tebal.. Serious memang sejukk.. Heater pulak ada timer menggigil laaaa sejam sebelum heater tu ON.. Silap tak cakap Rossella.. Tapi OK je bukan lah sampai tergolek sejuk.. Duduk dlm selimut OK lah hehe..

Kami berjalan je dari Apartment Rossella tu, memang dekat je train station..

Menunggu train beberapa minit lagi..

Train stop kat Lodi, kami naik bas.. Dekat je tapi save energy tak nak jalan sbb banyak lagi spot nak visit..

COLOSSEUM.. Waahh besar sungguh rupanya.. Tak masuk sbb ramaaaaiiii sangat yg beratur also limited time.. Tapi kami tawaf jugak lah nak tengok dari luar..

THE COLOSSEUM
.....or Coliseum also known as the Flavian Amphitheatre is an oval amphitheatre in the centre of the city of Rome, Italy. Built of travertine, tuff, and brick-faced concrete, it is the largest amphitheatre ever built. The Colosseum is situated just east of the Roman Forum. Construction began under the emperor Vespasian in AD 72, and was completed in AD 80 under his successor and heir Titus. Further modifications were made during the reign of Domitian (81–96). These three emperors are known as the Flavian dynasty, and the amphitheatre was named in Latin for its association with their family name (Flavius).

The Colosseum could hold, it is estimated, between 50,000 and 80,000 spectators, having an average audience of some 65,000; it was used for gladiatorial contests and public spectacles such as mock sea battles (for only a short time as the hypogeum was soon filled in with mechanisms to support the other activities), animal hunts, executions, re-enactments of famous battles, and dramas based on Classical mythology. The building ceased to be used for entertainment in the early medieval era. It was later reused for such purposes as housing, workshops, quarters for a religious order, a fortress, a quarry, and a Christian shrine. (Wikipedia)

Jumpa few Malaysians so dapat lah capture family photo..

Ramaaaaaiiii nya visitors masa tu.. Alhamdulillah cuaca sangat awesome..

Then dari Colosseum kami naik bas to ROMA TERMINI, nak cari simcard utk call/sms.. Sebelum ni kami beli FLEXIROAM utk data saja di KLIA.. Cuaca semakin mendung..

ROMA TERMINI
...(in Italian, Stazione Termini) is the main railway station of Rome, Italy. It is named after the district of the same name, which in turn took its name from ancient Baths of Diocletian (in Latin, thermae), which lie across the street from the main entrance. The station has regular train services to all major Italian cities, as well as daily international services to Munich, Geneva, and Vienna. With 33 platforms and over 150 million passengers each year, Roma Termini is the second largest railway station in Europe after Paris Gare du Nord. (Wikipedia)

Jalan2 di Termini jumpa few kedai makan HALAL.. Wallaaaa masa pon mmg ngam for lunch.. Harga pon sangat reasonable.. Ayam pulak besar maka kami terpaksa tapau sebahagian nya, simpan utk dinner.. Alhamdulillah..

Banyakkkk pilihan menu.. Ramai jgk pengunjung dari seantero dunia yg makan di kedai ni..

Nun di sana, few other kedai Halal..

Tiket di Rome ni, boleh guna utk train & bas, tapi ikut masa.. Boleh beli kat mesin dalam station or di kiosk2 tepi jalan ni.. Kami beli utk 2 jam sbb tak dapat bajet berapa jauh & berapa lama nak spend at one place.. 2 jam dah berlalu so utk ke destinasi seterusnya, ken abeli tiket lain..

In da train..

Jalan2 dari train station.. Mak nya dari bertahun dulu akan jadi macam General.. "Stop, pandang sini..!!" Hahaaaa paksa anak2 posing.. Semua utk simpanan lah kan..

Berjalan pecahkan lemak kaki dari bus stop..

ST. PETER'S BASILICA
....is an Italian Renaissance church in Vatican City, the papal enclave within the city of Rome.

Designed principally by Donato Bramante, Michelangelo, Carlo Maderno and Gian Lorenzo Bernini, St. Peter's is the most renowned work of Renaissance architecture and the largest church in the world. While it is neither the mother church of the Catholic Church nor the cathedral of the Diocese of Rome, St. Peter's is regarded as one of the holiest Catholic shrines. It has been described as "holding a unique position in the Christian world" and as "the greatest of all churches of Christendom". (Wikipedia)

Wahahaaa macam orang Eskimo sesat.. Sejookkk I tell you...!! Sungguh tak biasa.. First time percutian musim sejuk, Melbourne dulu musim sejuk tak macam ni.. Naik Mt Buller & Hotham je baru sejuk..

Habis tiga beranak dipaksa stop & pose hahaaa..

CASTEL SAINT ANGELO
The Mausoleum of Hadrian, usually known as Castel Sant'Angelo is a towering cylindrical building in Parco Adriano, Rome, Italy. It was initially commissioned by the Roman Emperor Hadrian as a mausoleum for himself and his family. The building was later used by the popes as a fortress and castle, and is now a museum. The Castle was once the tallest building in Rome. (Wikipedia)

Daddy yg konon ok ok dgn weather, last2 kena jugak cover kepala.. Head beanie ada tak bawak pulak, tinggal di apartment..

PONTE SAINT ANGELO
Ponte Sant'Angelo, once the Aelian Bridge or Pons Aelius, meaning the Bridge of Hadrian, is a Roman bridge in Rome, Italy, completed in 134 AD by Roman Emperor Hadrian, to span the Tiber, from the city center to his newly constructed mausoleum, now the towering Castel Sant'Angelo. The bridge is faced with travertine marble and spans the Tiber with five arches, three of which are Roman; it was approached by means of ramp from the river. The bridge is now solely pedestrian, and provides a scenic view of Castel Sant'Angelo. It links the rioni of Ponte (which was named after the bridge itself), and Borgo, to whom the bridge administratively belongs. (Wikipedia)

Masih dalam perkarangan Castel Saint Angelo..

Daddy mmg tourist guide lah sbb mak nya dah bekerja keras cari tiket, accomodation, kereta semua yg murah2.. Buat & plan route dlm masa yg singkat.. Tunggu daddy cari route nak jalan ke next destination..

Ni antara yg best jalan kaki sbb dapat tgk segala macam benda di lorong2 ni..

Tangkap sorang utk pose kejap..

PIAZZA NAVONA
...is a square in Rome, Italy. It is built on the site of the Stadium of Domitian, built in the 1st century AD, and follows the form of the open space of the stadium. The ancient Romans went there to watch the agones ("games"), and hence it was known as "Circus Agonalis" ("competition arena"). It is believed that over time the name changed to in avone to navone and eventually to navona.

THE PANTHEON
...is a former Roman temple, now a church, in Rome, Italy, on the site of an earlier temple commissioned by Marcus Agrippa during the reign of Augustus (27 BC – 14 AD). The present building was completed by the emperor Hadrian and probably dedicated about 126 AD. He retained Agrippa's original inscription, which has confused its date of construction as the original Pantheon burnt down so it is not certain when the present one was built. (Wikipedia)

THE TREVI FOUNTAIN
..is a fountain in the Trevi district in Rome, Italy, designed by Italian architect Nicola Salvi and completed by Pietro Bracci. Standing 26.3 metres (86 ft) high and 49.15 metres (161.3 ft) wide,[1] it is the largest Baroque fountain in the city and one of the most famous fountains in the world. The fountain has appeared in several notable films, including Federico Fellini's La Dolce Vita, the eponymous Three Coins in the Fountain, and The Lizzie McGuire Movie.

End of our city tour.. Jalan balik to bus stop.. Banyak interesting stuffs tapi kami tengok aje nya..

Tunggu bas, its drizzling tapi still OK.. Lama tak hujan tapi hat ni kaannn sejuk ya amat..

Best dapat duduk dalam bas yg ada heater, cair sikit yg beku2 dalam badan hahaaa..

Snap dari dalam bas aje.. Kalau nak tengok semua, duduk Rome seminggu pon belum tentu cukup kot..

Also dari dalam bas.. Allah ciptakan manusia utk berfikir, membina segalanya.. Subhanallah..

Alhamdulillah smooth semuanya.. Layan anak2 nak ronda Kota Rome, banyak tengok dalam movie je sebelum ni.. Mommy tumpang exercise hehe..
