DAY 2 (Part 2) ~ GOTHENBURG, SWEDEN

Hari masih terang, kami ke Lilla Bommen..

THE VIKING @ BARKEN VIKING
A four-masted steel barque, built in 1906 by Burmeister & Wain in Copenhagen, Denmark. She is reported to be the biggest sailing ship ever built in Scandinavia. (Wikipedia)
Ohh ini rupa kapal Viking ni..

Dari The Viking tu, kami jalan lagi sepanjang harbour tu.. Ada jgk few cafes yg bukak... Macam kat Europe dulu pukul 5pm semua kedai dah tutup..

Posing sat

 One family photo

PACKHUSKAJEN
Packhusplatsen (nama asalnya) is a square in central North City at the South River Bank of the River Göta in Gothenburg . The square is located including Casino Cosmopol and the Court of Appeals (Wikipedia)

Shopping Mall & Hotel kat bangunan depan tu..

Ada padang jugak..

Ramai2 lepak kat padang ni main bola, lepaskan anak2 kecik berjalan & macam2 lah aktivti.. Cuaca pun Alhamdulillah, memang nyaman 20'C je..

Suka tengok corner tu..

SKANSEN KRONAN
It was built in the later half of the 17th century according to the plans of Erik Dahlberg. Skansen Kronan was introduced in 1698 and was fitted with 23 guns. The roof was not completed until 1700. Skansen has 4-5 metre thick walls made of granite, gneiss and diabase. Skansen Kronan was never attacked and the cannons on the inside have never been used. (Wikipedia)

View dari atas bukit terletaknya SKANSEN KRONAN ni...  Hubby paksa manja2 naik bukit ni.. Sampai jgk..

Woaaaahhh... Best dapat tengok view dari tanah tinggi ni..

Mummy suruh posing..

OK, lets go home...

Another shot..

SKANSKASKRAPAN @ THE LIPSTICK
Lilla Bommen, popularly referred to as The Lipstick, is an 83 metre tall 23 floor post-modern skyscraper at the Lilla Bommen district of central Gothenburg, Sweden. (Wikipedia)

Kisah lucu bangat mencari Skanskaskrapan ni.. Rupanya dekat tempat kami park kereta masa datang jalan2 The Viking tu sebelumnya.

Tu yg di belakang tu SKANSKASKRAPAN lah..

Maka lepas amik foto, kami lepak je la bawah jambatan tepi SKANSKASKRAPAN...

Sunyi sepi je area LILLA BOMMEN tu..

Balik hostel baru kami perasan akan bangunan unik ni.. Located just before junction balik hostel kami..

Suka color terra cotta ni...

KVIBERG
History : At least a part of the farm Kviberg had in the middle of the 1350's the same owner as Grimbo in Tuve Parish, which later was given to Aranas convent . Year 1362 was owned Kviberg by King Magnus Eriksson , who in the same year gave it to Gudhems monastery . Then New Lödöses founded in 1473 donated the village Kviberg to the new city, which by its northern part was to be on Kvibergs land. When the city moved to Älvsborgs city , counted Kviberg to Gustav Vasa heirlooms and 1549 consisted of eight, and in 1572 of ten homestead, which in the late 1570s returned to the city. (Wikipedia)

Cantik kan building ni.. Pernah jadi pusat penempatan askar dan macam2 lagi kegunaannya..

The two Kviberg houses , known locally for Eastern Bloc and opposite Kvibergs cemetery in the block field gun, on the other hand Kortedala Road. The houses built in 1958-1960 in 14 and 16 storeys as a rehearsal for " million program "and were calculated for 2,500 people. The shorter the house was built by Riksbyggen and the longer (240 feet) of the Social Builds (architects were F. Blomqvist and Erik Friberger). [12] The name of the time was to build quickly and cheaply, and to reduce fasadytekostnaderna is the 13-meter deep houses thicker than previously built, functionalist house. This meant that most of the apartments in the two bedroom apartment is one-sided, ie, have windows in only one orientation. [13]
At Alivallsgatan, south of Kviberg houses were built 2003-2005 around 40 small houses of four different types and sizes, as well as a retirement home. The architect was Kvarnstrom Arkitektkontor, and builder was Mjöbäcks villa (Wikipedia)
