DAY 1 : COPENHAGEN, DENMARK

Alhamdulillah 25 Mei 2013, jam 1.30pm kami tiba di Copenhagen Airport..

Nasib ada bahasa Inggeris..

Dah amik bag2, kami ke kaunter EUROPCAR... Amik kunci kereta.. Nak drive di Europe, Scandinavia & New Zealand, orang Malaysia kena ada International Driving License.. Buat kat JPJ, valid setahun.. Kami berdua buat, gilir2 drive nanti..

Then ke building P10 yang berhampiran untuk amik kereta..

Thats our HW 57755 Renault Megane Estate 5 pintu (wagon)..!! Kereta2 kat sini banyaknya yang 5 pintu, samada SUV ataupon Wagon.

Asal jumpa petrol stesen, kami check harga minyak.. Mahal...!! Tapi kereta kami ni guna diesel, maka jimat banyak lah... Patut pon enjin bunyi macam pick up Triton kami je..

On the way ke tempat bermalam

Nasib tak banyak kereta, hubby tengah adjust2 kan diri bawak kereta kat lane kanan ni..

Lain tempat, lain senibinanya..

Kena lalu city centre.. Centre di sana = Centrum...

Simple je design block ni kan..

Here we're @ hostel kami... Teringat zaman sekolah duduk hostel.. DANHOSTEL COPENHAGEN BELLAHOJ, Bronshoj, Copenhagen.. Waahhh so cool...!!! Katil lipat ke dinding gitu.. Bathroom di luar.. And Alhamdulillah sangat dekat dengan bilik kami.. Its for 6 people actually.. That blue double sofa bed tu kami tak bukak sebab 4 beranak je.. Nanti penuh sarat bilik takleh jalan/solat.. No TV etc tapi ada TV Room & one huge Kitchen di basement untuk kegunaan semua penduduk...

My hero tengah bukak kan katil2 ni.. Murphy beds.. Kids yang sangat excited.. Tapi the mother also sebab rasa macam nak bawak balik je katil ni.. Save lotsa space kan kan.. Nak pasang pun senang..

Tengah discuss & ozom pilih nak tidur katil mana2.. Cadar, tuala & selimut kena bawak sendiri tau... Sebab tu lah murah.. Kami dah terbiasa dengan hostel2 sebegini..

Dah siap, hubby ajak jenjalan lah.. Sebab dah penat duduk berjam2 atas kapalterbang.. Hostel ni tak ada lif ya tapi naik setingkat je..

TV & Games room..

KASTELLET (CITADEL)..
Located in Copenhagen, Denmark is one of the best preserved star fortresses in Northern Europe. It is constructed in the form of a pentagram with bastions at its corners.. (Wikipedia)
Kastellet ni umpama pulau kecik tapi shape macam bintang (pentagram).. Ku suka, ku lihat HIJAU... Biorpon langit kelam.. Alhamdulillah tak hujan, dapat jugak jalan2..

KING'S GATE
The Citadel has two gates, King's Gate on the south side, facing the city, and Norway Gate on the north side of the edifice, which both date from 1663 as part of Ruise's original citadel. (Wikipedia)

The five bastions are named as follows: The King’s Bastion (Kongens Bastion), The Queen’s Bastion (Dronningens Bastion), The Count’s Bastion (Grevens Bastion), the Princess’s Bastion (Prinsessens Bastion) and the Prince’s Bastion (Prinsens Bastion). (Wikipedia)
Ni salah satu bastion nya lah..

 ST ALBAN'S CHURCH..
Locally often referred to simply as the English Church, is an Anglican church in Copenhagen, Denmark. It was built from 1885 to 1887 for the growing English congregation in the city. Designed by Arthur Blomfield as a traditional English parish church in the Gothic Revival style, it is in a peaceful park setting at the end of Amaliegade in the northern part of the city centre, next to the citadel Kastellet and the Gefion Fountain and Langelinie. (Wikipedia)

Tak mau pusing tu.. Sebab nak cepat explore tempat lain.. So amik foto belakang depa je lah.. Sayangnya lupa bawak tripod

THE ROWS (bangunan merah kat belakang tu)..
Six two-storey terraces which were originally built by Henrik Ruise as barracks for the soldiers based at the Citadel. The dorms measured four by four metres and contained two triple beds, a small table and two benches. (Wikipedia)..
Bersama salah satu meriam di KASTELLET ni..

GEFION FOUNTAIN
A large fountain on the harbour front in Copenhagen, Denmark. It features a large-scale group of animal figures being driven by the legendary Norse goddess, Gefjun. It is located in Nordre Toldbod area next to Kastellet and immediately south of Langelinie. It is the largest monument in Copenhagen and used as a wishing well. (Wikipedia)

MAERSK GROUP.. (building putih nun di sana)
A.P. Moller – Maersk Group started as the shipping company Dampskibsselskabet Svendborg, founded by captain Peter Mærsk-Møller and his son Arnold Peter Møller (2 October 1876–June 1965) in Svendborg, 1904.. (Wikipedia)

AMALIENBORG & MARBLE CHURCH..
(nun building2 di belakang sana, kaki dah berat nak ke sana, badan dah tak tahan sejok)
Amalienborg  is the winter home of the Danish royal family, and is located in Copenhagen, Denmark. Amalienborg was originally built for four noble families; however, when Christiansborg Palace burnt down on 26 February 1794, the royal family bought the palaces and moved in. Over the years various kings and their families have resided in the four different palaces.
*
Frederik's Church (Danish: Frederiks Kirke), popularly known as The Marble Church (Marmorkirken) for its architecture, is an Evangelical Lutheran church in Copenhagen, Denmark. It is located just west of Amalienborg Palace.(Wikipedia)..

THE LITTLE MERMAID..
A bronze statue depicting a mermaid, in Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark. Based on the fairy tale of the same name by Hans Christian Andersen, the small and unimposing statue is a Copenhagen icon and has been a major tourist attraction since 1913 (Wikipedia)..
Bersesak nak snap photo dgn mermaid..

NYHOLM dan HOLMEN (nun di seberang sana)
Holmen (Danish: The Islet)
A water-bound neighbourhood in Copenhagen, Denmark, occupying the former grounds of the Royal Naval Base and Dockyards. In spite of its name, deceptively in singular, Holmen is a congregation of small islands, forming a north-eastern extension of Christianshavn between Zealand and the northern tip of Amager.
Creation of Nyholm
The existence of Holmen originates in a wish to relocate the Danish Fleet from its earlier home at Bremerholm. Since the city was growing rapidly, it was no longer practical to have the fleet stationed in the center of the city. (Wikipedia)

Tak apa lah anak2, amik foto jauh2 je lah..

So cool one..!!! PEACE, LOVE & ICE CREAM..

Dah penat & gigil2.. Back to the hostel.. Ni dah jam 9.30 malam.. Dah nak Maghrib.. Best jalan time Summer ni sebab siang panjang..

Jumpa Kedai Turki Halal on the way balik hostel.. Maka hubby pun beli Pizza 2 jenis yg Large..Besar sungguh..

Yummeehh..
